AIRRE Club (AI-Rocket-Robotics-Energy)

Purpose: Nurture exceptional talent for frontier tech. Not a typical club, academy, or coaching center.

I'm obsessed with building frontier tech from Gujarat, India; from where I live.
It pains me to see that nobody here cares about building things that require extreme courage, obsession, and actually define the future.
Pranav Mistry came out of Palanpur 20 years ago. Since then, Gujarat's tech scene has been near zero.
A few people went outside. But none have risen to a level where they can shape things.
I want to change this. Not alone. But I'll start.

Purpose: Nurture exceptional talent for frontier tech. Not a typical club, academy, or coaching center.

Started talking about this 3 years ago. Got Chirag (then 13) due to his exceptional ability and attitude.
Getting someone to let their kid drop school at 13 is a big risk. I didn't feel that way. Still don't. He's been with me for 2.5 years now.
To formalize talent nurturing, started AIRRE Club. 22 people currently (8th grade to college graduates).
This isn't limited to just tech. I put in effort and time without expecting any return. No fees. No money. Just obsession.
Ambition: Build a community of 800-900 exceptional talents across Gujarat in 1.5 years who are fully immersed in one of these frontier tech domains.
Currently in talks with various bodies to create grant funds & facilities for this talent.
Next phase: Transform into a Frontier Tech Accelerator - nurturing young talent from scratch to real startups.
Long-term: Create grant funds > eventually venture investment arm.

First of its kind in Gujarat.

3-day, day-night immersive AI camp in Palanpur.
550 students registered across 5 districts. Selected 105 via phone interviews (most had zero AI exposure).
Locked 100 talented students under one roof for 3 days. Total AI-AGI immersion.
Program: 55 hours of technical sessions covering Intelligence, Brain, Learning, Neural Nets, Training, Agents, AGI. Plus 6 hours of expert interactions.
Hackathon (Day 3): 30 teams built their first-ever AI projects. Themes: Agriculture, Health, Education, Social Impact, Productivity.
Pranav Mistry supported throughout and sponsored a special hack.
Post-camp impact: 30 handpicked for advanced mentorship. 15-20 primed for long-term engagement. 100% diving into frontier tech.
Mehsana Chapter launched > weekly sessions now live.
What made it unique: We conducted everything in Gujarati. Most tech events default to English. We broke that convention. People understood deeply because we spoke their language.
Key takeaway: This camp sparked a flame - frontier-tech builders in the making across Gujarat.

I like going to hackathons. A lot of people think it's only for college kids or early-phase folks. I don't.
High-signal, high-talent-density environments. You meet people who care about building, not talking.
Also, living in Palanpur means nothing like this happens here. Going to events is our way of looking outside, staying connected to what's moving fast.

Went for NVIDIA AI Summit, Computex, and Jensen Huang's keynote.
Met Jensen. Surreal moment. Went straight to the front and took a selfie. Watching him speak was electrifying.
Visited Dahu Lake. Got lost in Maokong Mountains at night (not planned, but became the best part).
Went to Hualien. Met a Japanese professor named Masa at Taroko Gorge. Talked for 4 hours straight. He knew India better than most people around me in India. Was casually discussing TDP-BJP alliance in Lok Sabha 2024. Blew my mind.

Selected for China's biggest hackathon: AdventureX, Hangzhou.

Me and Chirag. Lived for 5 days among 300-400 of China's cream talent. Surreal in every sense.
Unitree HQ: We rushed there unannounced. Persisted heavily. They let us in. Saw their humanoid robot up close. Still thinking about it.
Suzhou (especially Tongli): Most beautiful experience of the trip. Old-world charm meets new-world energy.
What China taught me: This trip moved me deeply. Showed me what India needs to pull off to be at the front.
Need to understand the metabolic rate of a civilization that decided to move.
Their engineering culture, execution speed, long-term thinking - we need to study it, adapt it, build our own version.
